On January 19th, as reported by the Labor Newspaper, the area in front of the ThaiSquare The Merit building located on Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street (Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) witnessed the official unveiling of Sacombank’s logo, replacing the previous LPBank signage. Workers were still actively completing the installation of the Sacombank logo.

The ThaiSquare The Merit building, recently operational, serves as the central hub for Thaigroup’s units, including the Southern Head Office and Ho Chi Minh City branch of Loc Phat Bank Vietnam (LPBank).

According to the Labor Newspaper’s investigation, Sacombank confirmed that several of its units have relocated to this new location.

Sacombank’s logo now occupies the space previously held by LPBank at the ThaiSquare The Merit building.

Regarding LPBank, the Board of Directors has resolved to relocate the Southern Regional Office and Ho Chi Minh City branch from ThaiSquare The Merit to a new building on Dien Bien Phu Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City. This move coincides with LPBank’s decision to shift its headquarters from Hanoi to Ninh Binh.

The appearance of Sacombank’s logo at ThaiSquare The Merit marks the latest development following Sacombank’s appointment of Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy as Acting CEO on December 23, 2025. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kieu Anh, Deputy CEO of LPBank, has also transitioned to a similar role at Sacombank.

Two days after announcing Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuy’s appointment as Acting CEO, Sacombank revealed its new logo.
