On February 2, 2024, Honda officially unveiled a brand new scooter called Stylo 160 in the Indonesian market. According to Honda, this scooter is targeted at the premium segment with its luxurious design and powerful engine.
“We have witnessed the increasing interest of Indonesian consumers in the fashionable scooter segment,” said Mr. Susumu Mitsuishi, President and Director of PT Astra Honda Motor, during the launch event of Stylo 160. “With its classic yet modern design, this scooter will bring a sense of pride and confidence to the riders.”
With its slogan “Fashion meets power,” Honda Stylo 160 combines retro classic style with modern features and a 160cc engine. The scooter has a ground clearance of 151mm, a wheelbase of 1,275mm, and a seat height of 768mm, providing maximum comfort for urban riding.
At the front, Honda Stylo 160 features a square-shaped headlight with LED technology. On the sides of the front fairing are LED position lights and turn signal lights.
The scooter has 12-inch wheels both front and rear, with tire sizes of 110/90 at the front and 130/80 at the rear, giving it a premium and fashionable appearance. The Stylo 160 is equipped with a special rear disc brake in the ABS version. Meanwhile, the CBS version only has a front disc brake.
At the rear, Honda Stylo 160 is decorated with a flat-designed LED taillight. The sporty design is highlighted by the side panels on both sides of the scooter. Not only fashionable, but the Stylo 160 also has practical storage compartments. At the front, there is a small compartment for water bottles. Below it is a lockable compartment with a USB Type A charging port for the rider. Additionally, there is a 16.5-liter under-seat storage compartment.
Other notable features of the Honda Stylo 160 include a 5-liter fuel tank, a digital dashboard with battery indicator lights, fuel consumption display, etc., and a smart key with an integrated anti-theft alarm.
Despite its fashionable appearance, the Honda Stylo 160 uses a larger engine compared to other scooters in the same category. It is equipped with a single-cylinder, 4-valve, liquid-cooled ESP+ engine with a displacement of 160cc, producing a maximum power of 15.1 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13.8 Nm at 7,000 rpm.
Honda Stylo 160 is available in 6 fashionable color variants in the Indonesian market. The ABS version includes Royal Green, Royal Matte White, and Royal Black Matte. The CBS version includes Glam Black, Glam Beige, and Glam Red.
This scooter is backed by a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty for the frame, a 5-year or 60,000 km warranty for PGM-FI components, a 3-year or 36,000 km warranty for the engine, and a 1-year or 12,000 km warranty for electrical parts. 
In the Indonesian market, the Honda Stylo 160 is priced at 27.55 million Rupiah (approximately 42.8 million Vietnamese Dong) for the CBS version and 30.425 million Rupiah (approximately 47.4 million Vietnamese Dong) for the ABS version.
