Ho Chi Minh City authorities are set to revoke land in four districts to facilitate the implementation of 13 projects. This includes the revocation of 3.14 hectares of land in District 7, Binh Tan, and Binh Chanh and Nha Be districts.
Of these, 12 projects in District 7, Binh Tan, and Binh Chanh are not currently included in the local land use plan for 2024.
Specifically, in District 7, there are nine projects aimed at upgrading and expanding alleys. Binh Tan district will focus on two educational projects, including the construction of a high school in Binh Tri Dong B and the expansion of An Lac 3 Primary School.
In Binh Chanh district, land revocation will facilitate the construction of a dyke to prevent erosion along the Can Giuoc River (from Cau Ong Thin upstream). Land revocation in Nha Be district will be for the construction of another dyke to prevent erosion along Rach Tac Muong Lon (from Rach Muong Dua to the intersection of Rach Giong Chon).
Following approval from the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council, the city’s People’s Committee will direct relevant departments, districts, and units to organize the implementation of procedures to adjust and supplement the above projects into the approved 2024 district-level land use plan.
