The Sun Urban City project, located in the Bac Chau Giang area of Phu Ly city, marks the southern gateway to the capital city of Hanoi. It is the largest urban development project in Ha Nam province to date.
Sun Urban City is designed as a suburban resort city with over 1,001 amenities. The city boasts an impressive 18% building density, leaving ample space for greenery and water features. With 200 hectares of green spaces and five grand parks, residents and visitors alike can enjoy a vibrant festival park, a cultural park with a lakeside fireworks display, and the nearly 20-hectare Sun World Park. Sun World Park comprises a water park, a sports park, and an ecological park with Kid Universal, a children’s entertainment complex.
Ha Nam’s new administrative center, spanning 27.8 hectares, is also located within Sun Urban City. The city features a grand boulevard 150 meters wide and 1.5 kilometers long. Upon completion, Sun Urban City is expected to become a top destination for living, leisure, and entertainment for the people of Ha Nam and northern Vietnam.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Truong Quoc Huy, Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Ha Nam People’s Committee, emphasized the project’s impact on transforming the face of Phu Ly city. He highlighted how it aligns with the vision to elevate Phu Ly to a first-class urban area by 2030 and Ha Nam to a centrally governed city by 2050.
