Petrolimex Joint Stock Insurance Corporation (PJICO) has once again been named among Vietnam’s Top 10 Non-life Insurance Companies in 2024. This marks the 9th consecutive year that PJICO has secured a spot in this prestigious ranking.

The Top 10 Companies in the insurance sector are recognized by Vietnam Report and published in the VietNamNet newspaper. This year’s list comprises efficient, experienced, reputable, and influential companies that have made significant contributions to the development of the insurance industry and the Vietnamese economy as a whole.

According to Vietnam Report, the banking and insurance sector faced numerous challenges and unpredictable fluctuations in 2023 compared to other industries. Nevertheless, it still achieved positive results.

2024 is forecasted to be another challenging year for the industry, but it benefits from a more refined legal framework with a clear roadmap, fostering long-term sustainable development and efficiency.

Moving forward, adaptability and innovation will be key factors for banking and insurance companies to overcome obstacles and maintain growth in an increasingly competitive business environment.

PJICO’s Chairman of the Board, Pham Thanh Hai, emphasized the “Serving from the Heart” philosophy for the company’s new phase of development.

For the first half of 2024, PJICO surpassed its targets, achieving remarkable results. Specifically, the company’s revenue reached VND 2,695 billion, with original insurance revenue standing at VND 2,220 billion. This represents a 10.7% increase compared to the same period in 2023. Notably, PJICO’s pre-tax profit for the first six months reached VND 196.2 billion, completing 67.6% of the plan proposed by the General Meeting of Shareholders. These outcomes testify to the successful implementation of PJICO’s efficient, safe, and sustainable business strategy.
