The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have just announced the retail fuel prices for the period starting from 3:00 pm on August 15, 2024.
Accordingly, the price of RON 92 gasoline was increased by VND 170 per liter to VND 20,880 per liter, while the price of RON 95 gasoline was adjusted up by VND 180 per liter to VND 21,850 per liter. So far this year, gasoline prices have increased 17 times and decreased 15 times.
Similarly, the selling price of diesel oil was increased by VND 90 per liter to VND 19,230 per liter, and that of kerosene was raised by VND 160 per liter to VND 19,570 per liter. The price of mazut was adjusted to VND 16,240 per kg.

In this price adjustment, the two ministries did not use the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil products, nor did they collect contributions to the fund.
In the previous adjustment on August 8, 2024, the price of RON 92 gasoline was reduced by VND 900 per liter to VND 20,710 per liter, and that of RON 95 fell by VND 930 per liter to VND 21,670 per liter. The selling price of diesel oil also went down by VND 730 per liter to VND 19,140 per liter.
Sharp drop in petrol prices on the 29th of Tet, RON 95 reaches 23,000 VND/liter
Starting from 3:00 PM on February 8th, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline has decreased by 790 Vietnamese dong per liter, and the price of RON 95 gasoline has decreased by 900 Vietnamese dong per liter.
