HDBank Offers Competitive Deposit Interest Rates for Over-the-Counter Customers

According to the latest survey, HDBank, or the Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank, has increased its deposit interest rates for certain terms for individual customers making over-the-counter deposits. These rates are higher compared to the same period last month.

Currently, HDBank’s deposit interest rates range from 0.5% to 8.1% per annum.

Specifically, the interest rate for terms of less than one month is 0.5% per annum. The interest rate for terms of 1 to 5 months has increased from 2.75% to 3.05% per annum, and the rate for a 6-month term has increased from 4.8% to 5.0% per annum.

HDBank has kept the interest rates unchanged for the remaining terms. For terms of 7 to 11 months, the deposit interest rate remains at 4.6% per annum.

For a 12-month term, the interest rate for deposits of 500 billion VND and above is 7.7% per annum, while for deposits below 500 billion VND, the rate is 5.4% per annum. Similarly, for a 13-month term, the interest rate for deposits of 500 billion VND and above is maintained at 8.1% per annum, and for deposits below 500 billion VND, it is 5.6% per annum.

The interest rates for 15 and 18-month terms are listed at 5.9% and 6.0% per annum, respectively. For terms of 24 to 36 months, the rate is 5.4% per annum.

In addition to the end-of-term interest payment option, HDBank also offers various interest payment options with the following rates: Advance interest payment: 2.95% – 5.4% per annum; Monthly interest payment: 2.95% – 5.7% per annum; Quarterly interest payment: 4.5% – 5.7% per annum; Semi-annual interest payment: 5.1% – 5.8% per annum; Annual interest payment: 5.2% – 5.3% per annum.

HDBank’s Online Savings Interest Rates for August 2024

In August, HDBank’s interest rates for online savings deposits have also increased for certain terms compared to July, ranging from 0.5% to 6.1% per annum.

Specifically, the interest rates for terms of less than one month are as low as 0.5% per annum. The interest rate for terms of 1 to 5 months has increased from 3.25% to 3.55% per annum, the rate for a 6-month term has increased from 4.9% to 5.1% per annum, and the rate for terms of 7 to 11 months remains unchanged at 4.7% per annum. The interest rates for 12, 13, 15, and 18-month terms are 5.5%, 5.7%, 6.0%, and 6.1% per annum, respectively, while the 24 and 36-month terms have the same interest rate of 5.5% per annum.

With a maximum interest rate of up to 6.1% per annum, HDBank is one of the banks offering the highest deposit interest rates in the system today.
