Rolls-Royce has unveiled its latest Bespoke creation, the Phantom Scintilla, alongside the electric coupe, the Spectre Semaphore.
As part of the brand’s 120th-anniversary celebrations, the Phantom Scintilla features a design that pays homage to the Spirit of Ecstasy, the enduring symbol of luxury that has graced every Rolls-Royce model from the Cullinan to the Ghost.
The iconic hood ornament on the Phantom Scintilla is crafted from ceramic, honoring the “Winged Victory of Samothrace,” a Greek marble sculpture created in 190 BC. This masterpiece inspired Rolls-Royce executive Claude Johnson to create the renowned Spirit of Ecstasy.
In terms of exterior design, this luxurious sedan features a two-tone paint job with Andalusian White on the upper body and Thracian Blue on the lower half. The Phantom Scintilla also boasts a double coachline running the length of the car, with one line in white and the other in blue.
The true distinction and class of the Phantom Scintilla are evident in its interior. According to Rolls-Royce, the development team spent over two and a half years perfecting the car’s interior design.
Specifically, the Phantom Scintilla boasts a unique starlight headliner with a sense of motion and over 36 embroidered patterns on the doors and seats, totaling 633,000 stitches. The interior alone takes 40 hours to produce.
The centerpiece of the Phantom Scintilla’s dashboard is a work of art called “Celestial Pulse.” It consists of seven intersecting aluminum ribbons, finished in the same ceramic material as the Spirit of Ecstasy on the hood.
Unlike the one-of-a-kind Spectre Semaphore, the Phantom Scintilla will be limited to just 10 units. While the price has not been disclosed, Rolls-Royce hints that it will be one of the most expensive Phantom variants ever brought to North America, and all 10 cars already have owners.
Porsche Panamera Turbo S previously owned by Mr. Dang Le Nguyen Vu for sale, price dropped by 1.6 billion Vietnamese dong in less than 1 year.
For luxury sports cars like the Porsche Panamera, it is understandable that they experience significant depreciation over time.
