Faced with a labor shortage, Bowker Vietnam Garment Company Ltd. (located in Dong An Industrial Park, Thuan An City, Binh Duong Province) is actively recruiting an additional 300 garment workers to meet increased production demands.
The company is utilizing various information channels to reach potential candidates, including social media platforms and referrals from their current employees.
The company promises abundant orders, attractive income starting from VND 10 million per month, and a friendly working environment. Those without garment skills will be provided with training, and new employees will receive an immediate bonus of VND 1 million each.
Mr. Tran Xuan Bang, Deputy Head of Labor Relations at Bowker Vietnam Garment Company Ltd., shared that the company has introduced a new policy offering special support for candidates who join during August. Specifically, new employees will receive a 13th-month bonus for 2024, regardless of having worked only 4-5 months by the end of the year.
“Typically, the 13th-month salary is calculated based on the number of months worked during the year. However, the company is willing to provide this benefit to new employees, ensuring they receive the full bonus,” explained Mr. Bang.
For skilled garment workers, the company is implementing joining bonuses based on skill levels: level A receives VND 3.38 million, level B receives VND 2.99 million, and lower levels C and D receive correspondingly lower amounts.
“This bonus will be divided into phases based on the employee’s length of service, from 1 month to 3 months and then to 6 months, encouraging stability and long-term commitment from workers,” said Mr. Bang.
