The People’s Committee of Ben Luc district, Long An province, has recently announced the provincial People’s Committee’s decision on approving the investment policy and selecting the investor for the Thanh Phu Residential, Commercial, and Service Area project, located in Thanh Phu commune.

According to the decisions, the Thanh Phu Residential, Commercial, and Service Area project will span over 85 hectares, with a total investment of more than VND 10,662 billion. This includes an investment cost of over VND 8,662 billion and compensation for site clearance estimated at VND 2,000 billion.

The project investor is a joint venture between BEHS Joint Stock Company and Covestcons Limited Company.

As per the master plan, the project is expected to accommodate a population of approximately 4,800 people. Specifically, the residential area will cover more than 21 hectares, comprising 698 land plots for adjacent houses, 318 land plots for villas, and 282 land plots for resettlement.

Regarding the implementation progress, it is anticipated that during the period of 2024-2025, the investor will complete the legal procedures, conduct compensation, site clearance, and provide support for resettlement. The construction of technical infrastructure and housing is scheduled for 2026-2029, gradually bringing the project into operation.

The operational duration of the Thanh Phu Residential, Commercial, and Service Area project is 50 years, commencing from the date of the investor receiving the land allocation, land lease, or land-use purpose conversion decision.

In recent times, the real estate market in Long An has witnessed increased activity with the entry of several prominent investors launching their projects in the region.

For instance, the Phuoc Vinh Tay Urban Area project, a joint venture between Vinhomes Joint Stock Company and Vietnam Investment Group (VIG), has recently undergone a public consultation for its environmental impact assessment report.

This project, located in Phuoc Vinh Tay commune, Can Giuoc district, Long An province, spans nearly 1,090 hectares, with a total investment of over VND 80,000 billion (more than $3 billion).

According to the master plan, the Phuoc Vinh Tay Urban Area will feature 7,050 adjacent houses, nearly 8,200 villas, 13,440 social housing units, and 2,370 low-rise resettlement houses… The urban area is designed to accommodate a population of approximately 90,000 people.
