At Imexpharm, people are at the heart of its sustainable development strategy. The company believes that long-term success is built on a dedicated, highly skilled, and passionate workforce. For nearly five decades, Imexpharm has consistently delivered high-quality healthcare solutions while fostering a happy, equitable, and empowering work environment where every individual can thrive and take pride in their contributions.
Imexpharm’s human-centric strategy is not an afterthought or a marketing slogan—it’s a core philosophy driving its operations.
“We call it the Circle of Happiness: Happy People – Happy Business – Happy Nation. This philosophy not only drives business success but, more importantly, creates tangible value for our employees and the community. It’s a commitment we’ve upheld since our founding,” shared Dr. Tran Thi Dao, People’s Doctor and Pharmacist, CEO of Imexpharm.
“When we were just a small pharmaceutical workshop in Dong Thap, we sent our staff abroad, particularly to Europe, to learn advanced technology and international standards. This human foundation enabled Imexpharm to pioneer modern technology and lead in EU-GMP compliance, making high-quality, affordable medicines accessible to Vietnamese people. Improved health leads to greater joy and quality of life, which in turn drives national prosperity,” Dr. Dao added.

Quality begins with rigorous raw material sourcing. Imexpharm prioritizes clean, safe, CEP-standard ingredients, subjecting them to strict testing before registration with the Ministry of Health. Its sustainability strategy includes energy optimization, reduced greenhouse emissions, energy-efficient HVAC systems, and ISO 14001:2015-compliant wastewater treatment.
Addressing Vietnam’s dual disease burden—infectious and chronic illnesses—Imexpharm invests 5% of annual revenue in R&D. With 144 active projects, the company launched 20 new products in the first nine months of 2025, meeting the community’s diverse and complex healthcare needs.
Beyond R&D, Imexpharm focuses on innovation and global manufacturing capabilities. Its 2024 technology transfer with Genuone Sciences (South Korea) and 28 EU marketing authorizations (EU-MAs) have positioned the company as a key player in the global value chain.
Imexpharm’s long-term vision is to “Bloom like a lotus, even after a thousand years.” By building strong internal capabilities, the company creates a genuine Circle of Happiness, ensuring sustainable growth and societal impact.
