The Ho Chi Minh City Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency (HCMC Cjea) has announced that it is currently executing the judgment against Truong My Lan, Chairwoman of Van Thinh Phat Group, and her accomplices.

According to the First-Instance Criminal Judgment No. 504/2024/HSST dated October 17, 2024, issued by the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Court, and the Appellate Judgment No. 259/2025/HS-PT dated April 21, 2025, issued by the High People’s Court in Ho Chi Minh City, along with the Enforcement Decision No. 3699/QĐ-CTHADS dated June 16, 2025, issued by the Director of HCMC Cjea, Truong My Lan is obligated to fully compensate the total amount of VND 30,081 billion to the victims and related parties who acquired the bonds.
Previously, HCMC Cjea disbursed the first installment of VND 7,464 billion, the second installment of VND 738 billion, the third installment of VND 376 billion, the fourth installment of VND 299 billion, and the fifth installment of VND 206 billion on November 26.
On December 26, HCMC Cjea executed the sixth installment, distributing over VND 269 billion to 42,482 bondholders.
For the 626 bondholders who have not provided their bank account details, HCMC Cjea has deposited the corresponding amounts into savings accounts as per regulations.
Currently, HCMC Cjea is verifying, surveying, and appraising the assets identified in the judgment belonging to Truong My Lan and other individuals and organizations liable for enforcement. They have also requested SCB Bank to transfer the frozen funds as per the appellate and first-instance judgments from both phases. Once the asset disposal results are finalized and the bank transfers the funds, HCMC Cjea will proceed with subsequent installments.
HCMC Cjea advises the judgment beneficiaries and related parties to avoid accessing unofficial links and to regularly monitor updates through official HCMC Cjea channels. They also discourage gatherings to prevent misinformation or exploitation. HCMC Cjea is fully committed to expediting the judgment execution to maximize the legal rights and interests of the bondholders.
