At Bao Tin Minh Chau, the price of plain gold ring sharply increased to 64.38-65.58 million dong per tael. The price of SJC gold also increased to 76.15-78.2 million dong per tael, about 600 thousand dong per tael higher than yesterday.

The DOJI Group increased to 75.85-78.25 million dong per tael for SJC gold and 63.95-65.15 million dong per tael for plain 24k gold ring.

In the international market, the spot gold price is currently at 2,039 USD/ounce, a decrease of about 10 USD/ounce compared to the beginning of the session. Converted at the VND/USD exchange rate, the international gold price is equivalent to about 60.5 million dong/tael.

Therefore, the price of SJC gold after the plunge at the beginning of January is showing signs of recovery. Currently, the selling price of SJC gold is at its highest level since the beginning of 2024 and about 2 million dong per tael away from the historical peak. Previously, at the end of 2023, the selling price of SJC gold reached 80.3-80.5 million dong per tael in the afternoon.

Meanwhile, the price of 24k gold rings is at a peak and there is a relatively large difference between brands. While Bao Tin Minh Chau sells at a price of 65.5 million dong per tael, Saigon Precious Metals and Phu Nhuan Precious Stone Gold Silver only list below 64.5 million dong per tael.
