OCB relocates its headquarters to Thu Duc City

OCB, the commercial bank formerly known as Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank, has recently announced that it has received approval from the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) to change its head office's location.

Accordingly, the main headquarters of OCB will be relocated to The Hallmark building at 15 Tran Bach Dang Street, Thủ Thiêm Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City. This is a rare Grade A+ office building located in a prime location, where top enterprises and multinational corporations gather, promising to bring a modern working space with premium facilities and the application of new technology according to international standards.

Currently, OCB’s main headquarters is located at the ground floor, mezzanine floor, 1st floor, and 2nd floor of the building at 41 and 45 Le Duan Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Prior to this, OCB has opened and relocated 40 branches/transaction points in 2023, bringing the total number of the bank’s transaction points to 160 spread across major provinces and cities nationwide.

In 2024, OCB plans to open an additional 17 branches/transaction points after receiving the approval of the State Bank, investing in digital activities to create financial products and services with technology application to serve the lives of customers as well as towards sustainable development goals.

According to the financial report for 2023 recently published by OCB, as of December 31, 2023, the total assets of OCB reached 239,454 billion VND, an increase of 23.4% compared to 2022. The total mobilized market 1 reached 168,112 billion VND, an increase of 22.4% compared to the same period. The outstanding market 1 debt increased by 20.5% compared to 2022, reaching 148,005 billion VND, fulfilling 100% of the annual plan. In which, customer loans reached 144,849 billion VND, achieving 101% of the set target, an increase of 20.9% compared to the previous year.

In 2023, OCB recorded a pre-tax profit of 5,227 billion VND, an increase of 19.1% compared to 2022.

In 2023, OCB also successfully increased its charter capital to 20,548 billion VND (an increase of 6,849 billion VND). With the successful increase in charter capital, OCB officially belongs to the group of top private banks with the largest charter capital in the system.
