During the peak of Lunar New Year, both domestic and international terminals are crowded, especially in the arrival direction to Ho Chi Minh City after the holiday. The representative of Tan Son Nhat International Airport stated that they have coordinated with relevant units to implement plans to ensure passenger service during this period.

Taxi lanes at the domestic terminal have been redistributed. At the international terminal, a separate lane for ride-hailing vehicles has been opened to ensure passengers can get in and out in the right place, avoiding congestion in front of the terminal. In addition, taxi companies and ride-hailing services have all committed in writing to arrange vehicles to ensure passenger service at the airport before and after the Lunar New Year.

Currently, Tan Son Nhat International Airport is applying a collaborative decision-making model (A-CDM) at the airport. Specifically, the airport will cooperate in implementing flight information at peak hours to coordinate, allocate resources, as well as enhance communication and review slots to operate the terminal within its capacity.
