According to the information, 700 businesses resumed operations after Tet with about 200,000 workers. The company with the most workers returning to work is VSIP Industrial Park with about 75% of the total workforce.
Other businesses have about 50% of their workers returning to work. The cases where workers have not returned to work are due to annual leave or companies providing a few more days off for those who live far away.
To encourage workers who return to work on time, this morning, business leaders went to the factory to meet, wish them a Happy New Year, and give them lucky money ranging from 100,000 to 300,000 VND each.
With attention and care, workers are enthusiastic and excited to return to work after Tet. They hope that the company will have more orders in the new year for overtime work and additional income to support their families.
Currently, businesses that have not resumed operations are waiting to sign orders with their partners. The expected time for businesses in Binh Duong to return to work is no later than February 25th.
In addition to the units facing difficulties in orders, many businesses have received orders and started to recruit more workers. According to the statistics of the Department of Labor – Invalids and Social Affairs of Binh Duong province, the recruitment demand of businesses in 2024 is about 60,000 people.
