VinFast introduces new reverse-driving car series: Distinctive designs of VF 5 and VF e34, equipped with more advanced features than cars in Vietnam
For now, VinFast electric cars with reverse steering are being produced in Vietnam. They will be localized in Indonesia once the factory there is completed.
VinFast has brought 6 electric car models to Indonesia to participate in the IIMS 2024 exhibition. The noteworthy point is that all of these are reverse steering versions. This means that VinFast is ready with reverse steering products to serve more markets, including Indonesia.

On the other hand, VinFast has a website dedicated to the Indonesian market. There are currently 2 models on it, which are VF e34 and VF 5.
Based on the product images posted by VinFast on the website, it is easy to notice many differences between these 2 electric car models compared to the version currently available on the Vietnamese market. For example, VF e34 has black rims, black bumper trims, and body color B-pillars, C-pillars, while VF 5 has a screen integrated with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay. In addition, the VF 5 car exhibited at IIMS also uses a different set of rims.
