Preparing to Start Construction of Khanh Hoa – Lam Dong – Ninh Thuan Connection Road costing 1,930 billion VND

The road linking three provinces is scheduled to break ground in early March 2024, aiming to boost socio-economic development, enhance transportation connectivity, and facilitate interregional cargo transportation.

On February 20, Mr. Pham Van Hoa, Deputy Head of the Investment Project Management Board of Khanh Hoa Province’s transportation infrastructure, announced that the Khanh Hoa – Lam Dong – Ninh Thuan transportation route project is expected to break ground in early March 2024.

The project, which stretches from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656, connects the three provinces with a Grade III road spanning approximately 56.7 km, with a total investment of VND 1,930 billion sourced from the central and local budgets.

This project is classified as a national important project and serves as a vital transportation route connecting the mountainous districts of Khanh Vinh and Khanh Son in Khanh Hoa province. This project aligns with the development plan for transportation infrastructure in Khanh Hoa province for the 2021 – 2030 period and vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 318 dated March 29, 2023.

Moreover, the project creates favorable conditions for socio-economic development in the two mountainous districts of Khanh Hoa province, enhancing transportation connectivity and regional goods transportation with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan province.

The project also contributes to strengthening national defense and security in the area, forming a flexible and efficient transportation network to ensure security and defense, effectively serving forest patrol, control, management, and protection.
