At the Hanoi Employment Service Center, out of the 29 businesses participating in the job exchange session, 15 were from the trade and service sector, accounting for the highest proportion at 51.7%. The rest were from other sectors such as manufacturing, construction, and real estate.
In terms of salary ranges, the participating businesses offered a variety of options. Positions requiring high qualifications, experience, and specialized skills, as well as positions with high work pressure, offered salaries of 15 million VND or more per month.
Positions in business, management, supervision, department head or deputy department head roles, and others offered salaries ranging from 10 to 15 million VND per month.
The most common salary range, between 7 and 10 million VND per month, was offered for stable positions such as accounting, office staff, receptionists, and skilled technical staff.
In addition, salaries between 5 and 7 million VND per month were offered for unskilled labor, fresh graduates, or temporary and part-time jobs.
Furthermore, some positions allowed for negotiation of salaries between the businesses and job seekers during the interview process. The negotiated salaries depended on various factors such as skills, experience, education level, job position, ensuring the needs and rights of the workers.
Speaking about recruitment at the Hanoi Employment Service Center on February 22, Ms. Vu Thi Thuy, a recruitment specialist at Viettet Post Hanoi, said that the company currently has recruitment needs for positions such as branch managers, sales staff, and postal clerks.
It is expected that the company will expand its branches by 70-80 this year, which means a significant increase in the number of employees. Consequently, additional managerial and market development positions will be needed. Specifically, for postal clerks, the company plans to recruit 500-700 positions to expand its network and increase revenue.
Due to the large number of recruitment positions, the company has to recruit workers through various methods.
Mr. Vu Quang Thanh, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, stated that the job exchange session featured the participation of large and reputable businesses from the provinces and cities, offering diverse job positions with attractive salaries. It is expected to yield good results and improve the supply-demand connection at the Job Exchange Center.
At the same time, it creates job opportunities for all workers in Hanoi as well as in the Northern provinces and cities.
According to the assessment of the Hanoi Employment Service Center, after the Lunar New Year 2024 (Year of the Horse), the labor market continues to recover. The vibrant economy at the beginning of the year is evident in major labor markets across the country.
In Hanoi, businesses are actively recruiting workers from the beginning of the year to supplement their workforce and meet production and business demands.
This is an opportunity for workers, especially students and recent graduates, to find employment, as well as for those who are looking to change jobs to find suitable opportunities. Some industries with high recruitment demand include wholesale and retail, processing and manufacturing, transportation and logistics, services in the restaurant and hotel sector, and tourism.
