The planning area covers a total area of nearly 314.9ha in the wards: Cam Phuc Nam, Cam Phuc Bac, Cam Nghia, Cam Ranh City (according to the area scale reported by the Provincial People’s Committee, proposing investment approval at Report No. 13156 / TTr-UBND on December 30, 2022 and approved for investment approval by the Prime Minister at Decision No. 336 / QD-TTg on April 1, 2023), including 3 areas as follows:
Zone 3A has a total area of nearly 10.3ha in Cam Phuc Nam ward (from the north of the shipyard to the south of the Cam Phuc Nam sandbank);
Zone 3B has a total area of 147.6ha in Cam Phuc Bac and Cam Nghia wards;
Zone 3C has a total area of about 157.1ha in Cam Nghia ward.
The Provincial People’s Committee requires the investor and the Cam Ranh City People’s Committee to be responsible for the consistency between the detailed planning of the project implementation area and the related planning already implemented and being implemented in Cam Ranh City; only proceed with the next steps after the detailed planning, zoning planning is approved synchronously, consistent with the adjustment of the General Planning of Cam Ranh City (organized by the Cam Ranh City People’s Committee) approved by the competent authority (at the request of the Prime Minister in Decision No. 336 / QD-TTg.
Cam Ranh Bay urban area covers a total area of 1,151ha, with a total investment capital of 85.293 billion dong (nearly 3.5 billion USD). The project aims to create a modern and complete new urban area that meets the needs of residential, recreational, and resort. It will become an urban area and an eco-resort tourism area along the coast of Cam Ranh Bay with a land use scale of 1,250ha. The project is located 6km from Cam Ranh International Airport and 7km from the international port.
