These achievements come at a significant time as BIM Group celebrates its 30-year milestone. On this occasion, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hang – Director of Human Resources of the Group, shared about BIM Group’s human resource development strategy before embarking on a new phase of development.

Recently, BIM Group has consistently achieved high rankings in specialized recruitment surveys. According to her, where does this success come from?

We are delighted by the progress of BIM Group’s recruitment brand. Our systematic approach, based on the knowledge foundation, has helped BIM Group achieve stable development over the past 30 years. We choose not to rush, but to be cautious and value sustainability. In the midst of continuous challenges, stability and sustainability have become factors that make BIM Group stand out in the recruitment market.

So, is this systematic approach and standardization in the investment fields an advantage for BIM Group in the recruitment market?

That’s true, but it’s not everything. BIM Group has established certain advantages through its solid foundation accumulated over three decades. After the pandemic, with slow economic growth and complex developments, we also faced common difficulties. However, the Group’s leadership immediately identified the need for rapid adaptation.

BIM Group is multi-industry but focused and lean. We have and are continuing to streamline our organizational structure, work efficiency, standardize and enhance professionalism. Investing in people is one of the sustainable “investments” that BIM Group makes to solidify its competitive advantage in the recruitment market.

In the past year, BIM Group has focused on building and implementing human resource development programs based on modern personnel models. What role does this play in BIM Group’s human resource development strategy in the next phase after the 30-year milestone?

In the past year, BIM Group has been committed to building and maintaining an inspirational working environment, with employees as the focus, enhancing the value and work efficiency of each worker, to create a solid foundation for the next phases of development.

To achieve this goal, firstly, activities related to human resource management must be implemented in a systematic, scientific, and clear manner. We focus on perfecting and restructuring the organizational structure, standardizing, and systematizing job titles and job levels, job descriptions with corresponding benefit packages. The performance evaluation of employees is also systematized and takes place regularly, enabling scientific, fair, and transparent assessment of labor performance.

In addition to enhancing and continuously improving welfare packages to become increasingly competitive in the market, we actively innovate and issue new policies to comprehensively increase the rights and benefits of employees in terms of physical, living, and mental aspects, to give them peace of mind to contribute and develop their careers at BIM Group. In which, the welfare of employees’ families is also an area that we particularly focus on and have special welfare policies for.

BIM Group has established sports clubs nationwide to provide opportunities for employees to improve their health, share their passion, and compete in professional tournaments.

One of BIM Group’s core values is Knowledge. Therefore, we also focus on developing internal training activities, promoting a learning culture throughout the entire Group. In the past year alone, we have organized hundreds of in-depth internal training courses for all target audiences, from managerial positions to workers in the production sector.

BIM Group has developed many advanced courses to enhance skills, expertise, and professionalism, providing opportunities for employees to develop in their work.

Internal training courses at BIM Group are designed in-depth for all target audiences, from managerial positions to workers in the production sector.

In addition to regular reward programs, BIM Group has also focused on building and initially completing the start-up phase for two programs: Succession Planning and Talent Management. These serve as the prerequisites for us to build a key personnel team with Heart – Mind – Talent, ready for the upcoming transition phase.

One of the focuses of BIM Group’s brand and human resources work in the coming time is to deploy, develop, and concretize the corporate culture, with the goal of clearly shaping the culture, personality, and conduct standards of each individual at BIM Group. I believe that the corporate culture not only ignites the pride of each employee but also contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the BIM Group brand in the market.

Developing the corporate culture will be one of the focuses of BIM Group’s brand and human resources work in the coming time.

As a multi-industry corporation with personnel in different areas, what has BIM Group done to build a cohesive and inspirational working environment for its employees?

Not only differing in specialized fields and local cultures but BIM Group’s workforce also differs in terms of age and generations. In particular, BIM Group has a long-standing labor force with many employees who have been with the Group for up to 30 years – equivalent to the number of years the Group has been operating. But like a family, we have a distinct culture where knowledge and integrity are the core. BIM Group values efficient culture, so every difference can find a common voice here.

Entering its 30th year, preparing for a new phase of development, what kind of talent is BIM Group seeking?

We are focusing on finding and training human resources for key personnel teams with high requirements for expertise and experience. Additionally, BIM Group is also open to welcoming young and outstanding individuals with foreign language skills, skills, agility, dynamism, and creativity to bring “fresh air” to the personnel system and new business areas of the Group.
