The Ministry of Finance and Industry has just released information on the management of gasoline prices from 3:00 PM, February 29th.
Accordingly, the Ministry decides to increase VND 280 per liter for E5 RON 92 gasoline to VND 22,750 per liter; increase VND 330 per liter for RON 95 gasoline to VND 23,920 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of diesel decreases by VND 140 per liter to VND 20,770 per liter. So far, gasoline prices have increased 6 times and decreased 3 times since the beginning of the year.
At today’s management meeting, the Ministry of Finance and Industry did not allocate or spend from the stabilization fund for most types of gasoline, except for mazut oil which increased by VND 300 per liter.
In the most recent management meeting (on February 22nd), the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline was adjusted down by VND 356 per liter to VND 22,475 per liter. The price of RON 95 gasoline decreased by VND 320 per liter to VND 23,599 per liter. The price of diesel also went down by VND 451 per liter to VND 20,910 per liter; while fuel oil decreased by VND 300 per liter to VND 20,921 per liter. On the other hand, the price of mazut oil increased by VND 23 per kg to VND 15,929 per kg.
