On March 1, the music video of the international Latin artist – J Balvin unexpectedly featured the image of a familiar SUV. And not unfamiliar to the Vietnamese, this is the VinFast VF 8 electric car. This is the first time that a Vietnamese brand car has appeared in the music video of an international star, attracting a lot of attention from fans.
Specifically, in the music video entitled ‘Triple S’, the VinFast VF 8 appears magnificently in the center position in the opening part of the MV for nearly 10 seconds.
In the opening part of the MV, there is a scene of a convoy of 3 high-end cars carrying important characters to a party villa. Among them, the VinFast VF 8 appears between 2 Mercedes G63 AMG cars. This VF 8 is dressed in a luxurious and mysterious black paint color, the camera captures close-up images of the LED daytime running lights in the form of distinctive wings and the prominent VinFast logo on the rims.
J Balvin is currently one of the world’s leading names in Latin music, owning many top-viewed MVs (8 MVs including solo and collaboration songs), becoming the “billion view king” of YouTube. J Balvin owns hundreds of big and small awards, over 51.3 million monthly music listeners on Spotify, over 34.3 million subscribers on YouTube and over 51 million followers on Instagram, with many hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 charts.
Previously, the VinFast VF 8 also appeared on the TV show of the world-famous MC and producer Jimmy Kimmel. Cooperation with international stars promises to help promote the image of the VF 8 even further to users worldwide.
The Vietnamese electric car model currently holds the title of the cheapest rental car in the US after a price reduction until the end of January 2024. The rental price for a VF 8 car is only $249/month for 36 months, with a deposit of only $944. In addition to the rental price reduction, last year VinFast announced that they would refund $100 to owners if they encounter any issues that cause inconvenience but do not affect the use of the car.
