Toll collection to be examined at 14 BOT stations

The Directorate of Roads of Vietnam under the Ministry of Transport has announced a plan to conduct inspections and supervisions of 14 toll collection stations for road use (BOT stations) on the national highway system from April to November this year.

Accordingly, 14 toll stations are included in this year’s inspection and supervision plan: Hac Tri Bridge Toll Station; Pha Lai Toll Station; Dai Yen Toll Station; toll stations on the Hanoi – Lao Cai Expressway project; QL1 Toll Station, Bac Giang Province; Quan Hau Toll Station; Km1425+200 Toll Station, QL1, Khanh Hoa Province; Km1807+500 Toll Station, Ho Chi Minh Highway; Km0+700 Cu Mong Tunnel Toll Station;

Cai Lay Toll Station; Toll Station T1, Km16+905, QL91 Can Tho City; Km2171+200 Toll Station, QL1, Bac Lieu Province; Rach Mieu Bridge Toll Station; Can Tho – Phung Hiep Toll Station, Km2079+535, QL1, Can Tho City.

Hac Tri Bridge Toll Station is one of the 14 toll stations included in the inspection and supervision list this year.

The content of the inspection and supervision this time focuses on toll station operation management and road use fee collection at BOT projects.

Vietnam Road Administration requires road management areas to establish inspection teams, develop guidelines; organize inspections and supervisions in a public and transparent manner and report inspection and supervision schedules to the Department 10 days prior to commencement.

Within 7 days from the end of inspection and supervision at the unit, the road management areas must issue a notice on the inspection and supervision results to the Vietnam Road Administration for synthesis reporting to the Ministry of Transport.
