Previously, in February, according to information on the newspaper Vietnamnet, the Business Financing organization (based in the UK) also announced that Noi Bai surpassed the famous airports of Singapore, Thailand, and Japan when the business community voted as the best airport in the world in 2024.

This assessment is based on business travelers (not ordinary passengers) to rank the best and worst airports worldwide.

The results show that 14 of the 20 best international airports for business travelers are in Asia and the Middle East. The rest are in Europe.

The best airport is Noi Bai International Airport (Vietnam) when business travelers give an average score of 6.80.

“This airport has many amazing facilities, especially a sky-view building with an observation deck and many areas for aviation enthusiasts. The terminals are extremely clean and the staff are very friendly. In addition, there are great dining options,” commented Business Financing.

Over the past year, Noi Bai International Airport has constantly strived to improve the quality of services, ensuring the quality of passenger service.

Many important measures have been applied at the Capital’s International Airport such as: The coordination operation has been raised to a new level when the units operating at the Airport participate in the coordination model for decision-making at the airport (A-CDM); information technology solutions are increasingly applied to solve the problem of passengers increasing beyond the design capacity of the two terminals, …

In addition, the port also deploys many items to build cultural space, environmental landscape; review and supplement many convenient services such as: charging phone batteries, free wifi, children’s play areas, childcare areas; ensuring infrastructure for people with disabilities; improving the service attitude of frontline staff serving passengers; and completing the Action Committee for the quality of passenger service at the port.

From all those efforts, Noi Bai has entered the Top 100 best airports in the world 5 times in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020. After the difficult years of the Covid19 pandemic, by 2024, Noi Bai International Airport has increased 31 ranks to continue to return to the top 100 best airports in the world, according to Skytrax.

The World Airport Awards began in 1999, when Skytrax conducted its first global airport customer satisfaction survey.

It is considered a quality standard for airports worldwide, assessing customer service and facilities at over 500 airports.

There is no entry fee or any form of payment from an airport (or any other third party) to be included in the survey or awards, with the survey and awards process being conducted entirely by Skytrax.

Travelers from around the world participate in the airport customer satisfaction survey to decide the winners of the awards.
