Which company declared the highest dividend payout this Labour Day holiday (30/04-01/05)?

During the week of April 29th to May 3rd, five companies will close their rights to pay cash dividends, mainly because of a three-day holiday between April 30th and May 1st. The highest rate is only 18%, equal to a shareholder with one share receiving VND 1,800.

Enterprises record date for cash dividend payment from April 29 – May 03, 2024

The business with the highest dividend payment ratio next week is DRL. With 9.5 million shares in circulation, it is estimated that the company will need about 17 billion VND to complete the dividend distribution. The ex-dividend date is May 03, and the payment is scheduled for May 17, 2024.

The largest shareholder of DRL is currently the Central Power Corporation, a state-owned shareholder with a 30.4% ownership rate, equivalent to receiving about 5.2 billion VND. Previously, the company had paid 2 interim dividends for 2023 with a total ratio of 40%. As such, in 2023, DRL shareholders received a total of 58% dividend.

Second is FHS (Fahasa), with a rate of 12%. The ex-dividend date is May 02, and the payment is scheduled for May 14, 2024. There are currently nearly 12.8 million FHS shares trading, meaning that the amount to be paid is about 15.3 billion VND. In the shareholding structure at the end of 2023, Chairman of the Board of Directors Phạm Minh Thuận is the largest shareholder of Fahasa with a 37.8% ownership rate. With this rate, Mr. Thuan will receive about 5.8 billion VND.
