SYM Elegant 110 – From US$755
Among the models of motorbikes over 100 cubic centimeters in the Vietnam market, the Elegant moped from the Taiwanese (Chinese) motorbike brand has the cheapest price; the current listed price of the motorbike ranges from US$755 to US$795.
Since its launch in Vietnam in 2013, this SYM moped has been designed for ordinary customers, similar to the previous Angel 100 model, so the appearance of the motorbike is quite simple, not too ostentatious.
The overall dimensions of the motorbike are 1910mm – 680mm – 1100mm in length x width x height, and it weighs 96kg, making it easy to navigate the streets and suitable for people of small stature.
SYM equipped the 2023 Elegant 110 with fairly basic amenities such as halogen headlights, and a traditional analog display. This is understandable at a price of only US$755.

The 2023 SYM Elegant 110cc motorbike is powered by a 4-stroke, single-cylinder, 110 cubic centimeter engine, air-cooled. According to SYM, the maximum power of the motorbike is 5.3 kW at 7500 rpm and the maximum torque is 6.9 Nm at 5500 rpm.
Most impressively, the fuel consumption of the 2023 Elegant 110cc is the lowest among the models of mopeds with a displacement of over 100 cubic centimeters at a price range of US$870, at only 1.44 liters of gasoline per 100km.
Honda Wave Alpha – From US$789
The Wave Alpha is one of the best-selling motorbike models in the Honda Vietnam market.
In the 2024 version, the Japanese motorbike manufacturer has refined the design with a new and more youthful and trendy set of graphics.
The motorbike measures 1,914mm x 688mm x 1,075mm in length x width x height and weighs 97 kg.
The 2024 Wave Alpha is equipped with a halogen single headlight that is always on, along with halogen turn signals on both sides and a distinctive halogen taillight. The analog instrument panel (mechanical display) is clear, sharp, and sporty, helping the driver to quickly check the status of the motorbike while driving; mechanical lock, 3-in-1 multi-function lock type.
The motorbike is equipped with a 110 cubic centimeter engine, 8.2 horsepower, 8.44 Nm of torque, and a 4-speed gearbox.
The fuel consumption is 1.72 liters/100 km.
Yamaha Sirius – From US$822
The Yamaha Sirius is a durable moped that has been present in the Vietnam market for over 20 years. The motorbike has a youthful appearance and a compact design, suitable for all users.
The motorbike measures 1,940 mm × 715 mm × 1,090 mm and weighs 98 kg.
The analog display shows all the important information: speed, fuel consumption, and gear position indicator. The Fi version also has a Fi operation status indicator light.
The Sirius comes in two versions: standard and FI (electronic fuel injection). The FI version has a 113.7 horsepower engine, 8.7 horsepower, and 9.5 Nm of torque. The standard version uses a 110.3 cubic centimeter engine, 9 horsepower, and a maximum torque of 9 Nm. Both are equipped with a 4-speed gearbox.
Compared to the Sirius Fi version, the standard Sirius version will consume more fuel. According to Yamaha, the standard Sirius version uses a carburetor with a fuel consumption of 1.99 liters of gasoline per 100km, while the Sirius FI consumes only 1.54 liters of gasoline per 100km.
Honda Blade – From US$822
The Blade 110 is one of the moped lines favored by many Vietnamese users because of its low price. The motorbike has a youthful design with a bold and sporty style, along with a powerful and durable 110cc engine, and is highly convenient.Â
The overall dimensions of the motorbike are 1.920 x 702 x 1.075 mm in length x width x height, and it weighs 99 kg.
The engine on the Honda Blade delivers a maximum power of 8.2 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 8.65 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
The Honda Blade uses a 110cc engine with a fuel consumption of 1.85 liters/100 km, meeting the Euro 3 emission standards.
