The growth rate of the gross domestic product on the territory (GRDP) in the period of 2031-2050 will reach about 7.5%/year, GRDP/person by 2050 will reach about 54,000 USD.

The Southeast region will promote regional economic restructuring in conjunction with renewing the growth model, creating breakthroughs to improve productivity based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation. Developing a number of modern industries and services as new growth drivers, such as semiconductor industry, chip manufacturing, financial services (associated with the formation of an international financial center), logistics.

Basically forming a synchronous, modern and intelligent infrastructure framework, focusing on transport infrastructure, urban infrastructure, energy infrastructure, digital infrastructure, social infrastructure, water conservancy infrastructure, natural disaster prevention and adaptation to climate change. Fundamentally resolving traffic congestion, flooding and environmental pollution. Promoting urban development in conjunction with the orientation of developing a public transport system (TOD).

Forming and developing economic corridors, in which priority is given to the North-South economic corridor, the Moc Bai – Ho Chi Minh City – Bien Hoa – Vung Tau economic corridor and the industrial – urban – service belts in conjunction with Ring Road 3, Ring Road 4 of Ho Chi Minh City; effectively connecting seaports, airports, international border gates, major commercial hubs, urban cities, economic centers and forming the basis for reorganizing the development space of the region…
