On the afternoon of July 2nd, Kärcher Vietnam Technology Co., Ltd. held a grand opening ceremony for its new cleaning equipment factory located in the Tam Hiep Logistics Park, Nui Thanh district, Quang Nam province.

The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Le Van Dung, Standing Vice Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, along with several other provincial leaders.

The Kärcher cleaning equipment factory is a collaboration between An An Hoa Group and Kärcher Group. Construction began in early April 2023, with a total investment of over 20 million Euros in the first phase. The factory boasts an impressive 13,500 square meters of workshop space and 1,600 square meters of office space, employing over 300 local workers.

Mr. Hartmut Jenner, Chairman of the Board of Management of Kärcher Group, shared his surprise at the speed of the factory’s construction and completion in Vietnam, stating that it was the fastest among all their global locations. He expressed his gratitude for the efficient fulfillment of their requirements, timely production setup, and the swift acquisition of necessary certifications.

“From the planning stage to the start of production, all our requirements were met promptly. All production lines were set up on schedule, and we received certifications and permits on time. We highly appreciate the support we received during the construction of the factory in Vietnam. This marks an important milestone for Kärcher as we recognize the immense market potential for our products in Asia. We are confident that this new location will enhance our production capacity and long-term competitiveness in the region,” said Mr. Hartmut Jenner.

Mr. Markus Limberger, Vice Chairman of the Board of Management of Kärcher Group, added that Kärcher previously had only one production facility in Asia, located in China.

“That’s why we decided to build a second factory to strengthen our supply chain and optimize our production network. Our goal was to find a location in Asia where we could source all the resources and components needed for local production of cleaning equipment. Here in central Vietnam, we found the ideal conditions to make this happen,” explained Mr. Markus Limberger.

The new factory will produce pressure washers and cleaning equipment for consumers in Vietnam, Asia, and worldwide. This year, the factory is expected to manufacture 500,000 cleaning devices. This number will increase to 1.7 million by next year and reach 2.5 million by 2026.

Mr. Le Van Dung expressed his gratitude to Kärcher Group for choosing Quang Nam as the location for their second factory in Asia. He shared his excitement about visiting the factory and witnessing the production of environmentally friendly products in Quang Nam.

Mr. Dung assured the company of the local government’s continued support and commitment to addressing any challenges faced by the business. He also expressed his hope that Kärcher Group would consider expanding the factory in the next phase, producing a greater variety of products at competitive prices to serve consumers in Vietnam and worldwide.
