Kia has unveiled the pricing for its highly anticipated K4 model, and it’s causing quite a stir. With a starting price of just $21,990, or approximately 550.5 million VND, the K4 offers an impressive package at an unbeatable value. The top-of-the-line GT-Line Turbo model starts at $28,090 (around 703 million VND), and even with additional options, it’s hard to see the price exceeding 750 million VND. However, this model won’t be available until early next year.
The Kia K4 comes with two engine options. The standard model features a naturally aspirated 147 horsepower, 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive. For those seeking more power, the turbocharged version offers a 1.6-liter engine that produces 190 horsepower and 264 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The design of the Kia K4 has been highly acclaimed since its initial reveal in March. With its seductive sedan-coupe styling, Kia assures that the cabin space remains uncompromised. At 4,709 mm in length and 1,849 mm in width, the K4 is one of the largest vehicles in its segment, ensuring ample room for passengers.
Kia has also paid close attention to safety, equipping the K4 with a range of advanced technologies. In addition to standard features such as lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, and emergency braking, the K4 introduces a new collision avoidance system that utilizes data from external sensors to steer the vehicle away from potential hazards.
The interior of the K4 is packed with modern conveniences and connectivity options. The standard infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, with an optional upgrade to a 12.3-inch display. With voice commands like “Hey Kia,” drivers can easily control various functions through the intelligent virtual assistant.
The K4 replaces the older Cerato or K3 models and competes in the same segment as the Mazda3, Honda Civic, and Hyundai Elantra in the Vietnamese market.
