The AI Awards, held as part of the Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival 2024, aimed to honor outstanding AI-powered products and solutions. This year’s awards attracted over 70 AI-powered products across diverse industries, including healthcare, security surveillance, traffic safety, finance, and enterprise management and production support.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, Bui The Duy, presents the award to Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, DNSE’s Chief Technology Officer

As a pioneer in technology innovation in the securities industry, DNSE’s Ensa, the first virtual securities assistant in the market, was recognized by the judging panel as a Notable AI Project 2024 and awarded the title “Breakthrough AI Solution in Finance”. Alongside DNSE, the AI Awards 2024 also honored other outstanding solutions, including CodeVista’s AI-powered code writing process simplification by AI Center & FPT Software; OmiBot, a virtual assistant for call centers by Minh Phuc Transformation JSC; MedCAT AI Insurance platform by MedCAT JSC; FPT AI Mentor, an automated training process solution; and Enfarm’s agricultural technology for nutrition measurement and consultation for crops.

With the goal of building a virtual assistant model that addresses the shortcomings of traditional models, the DNSE team combined AI with securities data to develop Ensa, the virtual securities assistant. Ensa is the first assistant of its kind to be built as a chatbot, providing investment ideas and answering queries directly on the Entrade X by DNSE securities platform.

Sharing the idea behind Ensa’s development, Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, DNSE’s Chief Technology Officer, said that up to 90% of investors are overwhelmed with information overload, facing a lack of in-depth analysis tools, and thus missing out on investment opportunities. “In the securities market, quick access to information and data analysis is key to market success. Ensa, as a specialized AI assistant, is pioneering in the Vietnamese market, and we expect that with our continuously improving data analysis infrastructure, the ability to provide personalized information and investment ideas tailored to each client, Ensa will become a trusted companion and powerful tool for investors,” said Mr. Binh.

Currently, Ensa can automatically update market news from reliable sources in real-time, sending it to investors and alerting them to market fluctuations, helping them proactively protect their portfolios.

By combining AI capabilities with deep market data, the expertise of leading consultants, and analyzing past transaction data while learning from investor interactions, Ensa can provide personalized investment ideas and recommendations based on diverse investment philosophies using quantitative models.

The virtual assistant, Ensa, can proactively interact, adapt, and ask follow-up questions when more information is needed.

Utilizing advanced AI algorithms and large language models, Ensa takes a proactive approach to two-way interactions, offering investors relevant information without waiting for specific queries. In the securities market, timely information and emotional control are prerequisites for success. The virtual securities assistant model helps investors save time, providing an objective perspective based on data and helping them avoid emotional trading decisions.

In terms of business efficiency, while traditional brokers can only serve 20-50 investors at a time, a virtual securities assistant like Ensa can serve thousands of customers simultaneously, significantly saving resources for securities companies. According to Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh, Ensa, which was launched just six months ago, has already reached over 11,100 users and handled more than 135,000 queries, demonstrating the strong demand and acceptance of this innovative model by investors.

In addition to Ensa, DNSE has continuously introduced groundbreaking technological advancements, such as the Margin Deal transaction management and lending system, the Future X derivatives trading system with automatic order placement features, and the first securities account on the Zalo Pay e-wallet.

The recognition of Ensa with the “Breakthrough AI Solution in Finance” award from AI Awards 2024 not only highlights the potential of AI-powered products in the financial sector but also affirms DNSE’s efforts as a pioneering technology-driven securities company, offering solutions that keep pace with global trends and aim to “simplify investing for Vietnamese people.”
