On August 27th, the police of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, are investigating a collapsed floor in a building. At around 11 am, a group of construction workers were inside the building located on Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa Street, Nguyễn Thái Bình Ward, District 1, when suddenly, the concrete floor collapsed.

One worker was hit by a large chunk of concrete and had to be rushed to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the building used to house a bank but was later returned. The authorities arrived at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident. The construction had been ongoing for about a month, and there were approximately 10 people involved in the repair work when the incident occurred.
