The financial reports of several real estate businesses revealed astonishing salaries for their leaders in the first half of 2024. Specifically, Novaland Group (code: NVL) paid their CEO, Ng Teck Yow, a whopping 2.5 billion VND for the first six months, almost double the amount from the previous year, averaging 420 million VND per month.

The CFO, Dương Văn Bắc, received 1.4 billion VND, followed by the Chairman, Bùi Thành Nhơn, who earned 600 million VND, an increase of 100 million VND from the previous year.

Similarly, Phát Đạt Real Estate (code: PDR) allocated 5.8 billion VND for their leaders’ salaries, a slight increase from the previous year. Bùi Quang Anh Vũ, the CEO, maintained the highest salary at over 1.4 billion VND, making him the only leader in the company to earn a billion-dong salary.

The Vice CEO, Phan Lê Hòa, earned 826 million VND, while the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nguyễn Văn Đạt, received nearly 485 million VND. Other members of the Board of Directors earned approximately 120 million VND.

An Gia Real Estate (code: AGG) generously spent 3.8 billion VND on salaries for their 9-member Board of Directors and Executive Board, a 90% increase from the previous year. Nguyễn Thanh Sơn, the CEO, earned the highest compensation at nearly 1.3 billion VND, followed by the Chairman, Nguyễn Bá Sáng, who received 747 million VND. The Vice CEO and Chief Accountant earned over 500 million VND.

At Văn Phú Invest JSC (code: VPI), the Chairman, Tô Như Toàn, had the highest income among the leaders, earning 612 million VND in the second quarter of 2024, slightly lower than the previous year, averaging over 200 million VND per month. The lowest-paid leader was the Vice CEO, Phạm Hồng Châu, who earned 77.5 million VND in three months.

In the first half of this year, the Total JSC for Investment, Development, and Construction (code: DIG) spent 2.3 billion VND on salaries for their 5-member Board of Directors, the same as the previous year. The late Chairman, Nguyễn Thiện Tuấn, received 900 million VND, or 150 million VND per month. His son, Nguyễn Hùng Cường, earned 690 million VND, or 115 million VND per month. The CEO position received more than 704 million VND in salary, bonuses, and other benefits.

Hoàng Quân Real Estate (code: HQC) disclosed the salaries of only a few key leadership positions. The CEO, Nguyễn Thanh Phong, earned over 192 million VND in the second quarter, slightly lower than the previous year. The Head of the Inspection Board, Yu Trần Đan Phượng, received a salary of over 68 million VND, a significant increase from the previous year’s 30 million VND.
