Recently, as the popularity of Hang Du Muc red apples soared, many resellers emerged on social media, offering these sought-after fruits to those who had missed out on the live stream sales. However, some customers were in for a surprise when they received their orders. One buyer comically shared their experience of receiving a highly-crafted counterfeit version of the famous apples.

At first glance, the fake packaging almost perfectly resembled the original, from the color scheme to the layout and information presented. However, upon closer inspection, one crucial difference stood out: the image and name of Hang Du Muc herself.
The counterfeiters had replaced Hang Du Muc’s image with that of an unknown woman, easily distinguishable by her toothy smile, unlike the original packaging, which did not feature a toothy grin.
Additionally, the text in the top right corner, which originally read “Hang Du Muc,” had been cunningly altered to “Hong Du Muc.” According to online detectives, this subtle change in the curly font made it challenging to notice unless one looked very carefully.

Netizens were both amused and concerned by the ingenuity of the counterfeiters, and this incident served as a reminder to exercise caution when purchasing products online, especially the highly sought-after Hang Du Muc red apples.
Previously, due to the immense popularity of these apples, reselling and passing on purchases had become common on social media platforms like TikTok and Facebook. However, according to experienced “apple hunters,” the best way to ensure authenticity is to buy directly from Hang Du Muc’s live streams or from trusted associates like Quang Linh Vlogs, or more recently, from her brother’s live stream.
