Gold ring prices slightly increased today, surging by approximately 50,000 to 100,000 VND compared to yesterday’s rates. The selling price of this type of gold in the market has now reached nearly 79 million VND per tael.

Specifically, SJC Company is listing gold ring prices at 77.3-78.6 million VND per tael. DOJI Group is offering rates at 77.45-78.6 million VND per tael. Bao Tin Minh Chau and PNJ are quoting prices at 77.43-78.63 million VND per tael and 77.4-78.6 million VND per tael, respectively.

In the international market, gold prices recovered and surpassed the $2,500/ounce mark. The precious metal was trading at $2,516 per ounce at 10:00 AM on September 6th, equivalent to approximately 75.5 million VND per tael when converted according to the current VND/USD exchange rate, excluding taxes and fees.

Joe Cavatoni, Senior Americas Market Strategist at the World Gold Council (WGC), stated that gold is well-supported by several favorable factors. Geopolitical concerns and strong central bank purchases are among the factors boosting gold’s performance. While Cavatoni mentioned that the WGC does not provide gold price forecasts, he acknowledged that the market holds a lot of expectations for prices to reach the $2,700 to $3,000 range.
