Mr. Dao Duc Vu has over 35 years of experience in the aviation industry, having held several senior leadership positions at Vietnam Airlines, Cambodia Angkor Air, Vietjet, and Bamboo Airways.
From 2020 to 2022, he served as Deputy General Director and was primarily responsible for managing, supervising flight operations, and training flight crews at Vietravel Airlines.
At the appointment ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines, shared that the airline is entering a new phase of development with important goals. Therefore, Mr. Dao Duc Vu’s appointment is expected to boost the airline’s expansion plans and help achieve its set goals.
In the first six months of 2024, Vietravel Airlines increased its total commercial flights by over 17.9%, total available seats by more than 18.8%, and total passengers by over 39.2% compared to the same period in 2023.
