On October 26, sources revealed that the Investigation Agency under the Ministry of Public Security had initiated legal proceedings and detained Mr. Pham Van Ha (born in 1963, former Director of the Project Management Board for Transport and Rural Agriculture Infrastructure Development in Dak Lak province) on charges of “Taking Bribes.”

Mr. Pham Van Ha has been charged with “Taking Bribes” under Clause 4, Article 354 of the 2015 Penal Code (amended and supplemented in 2017).
Along with the initiation of legal proceedings, the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security also conducted a search of Mr. Pham Van Ha’s residence.
Mr. Pham Van Ha held the position of Director of the Project Management Board for Transport and Rural Agriculture Infrastructure Development in Dak Lak province from 2017 until August 2022. Subsequently, he was transferred and appointed as the Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Dak Lak province until his retirement in November 2023.
In relation to the Project Management Board for Transport and Rural Agriculture Infrastructure Development in Dak Lak province, on October 25, the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security initiated legal proceedings against Mr. Bui Van Tu (born in 1972, former deputy director) for the same offense of “Taking Bribes.”
At the time of his arrest, Mr. Bui Van Tu was the Head of the Industrial Park Management Board in Dak Lak province.
Mr. Tu was charged by the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security with “Taking Bribes” under Clause 4, Article 354 of the 2015 Penal Code, as amended and supplemented in 2017.
