Specifically, the Department of Police for Investigation of Corruption, Economic, and Smuggling-related Crimes under the Ministry of Public Security is investigating and verifying signs of legal violations in mineral exploitation activities in Thanh Hoa province by Joint Stock Company T.A.P. and related companies.

To serve the investigation, the Department of Police for Investigation of Corruption, Economic, and Smuggling-related Crimes requested the People’s Committee of Thanh Hoa province to direct relevant departments, sectors, and units to provide information and documents related to Joint Stock Company T.A.P. and associated companies. The requested documents include: dossiers for mineral exploitation licenses; dossiers for supervision and inspection of mineral exploitation activities of the companies; dossiers related to the fulfillment of financial obligations; management, collection, and payment of environmental protection fees; and dossiers and documents related to inspections, audits, and penalties, among others.
Accordingly, the Department of Police for Investigation of Corruption, Economic, and Smuggling-related Crimes requested the provision of dossiers and documents of 12 enterprises.
