As a leading HR consulting firm, Talentnet understands that people are the core foundation of sustainable development. Therefore, instead of viewing ESG as a mere compliance checklist, Talentnet approaches its ESG journey with a human-centric philosophy, placing people at the heart of the company’s sustainability progress.

This philosophy is embodied through three ESG pillars: Empowering People by enhancing capabilities, ensuring rights, and fostering holistic development of the workforce; Building Communities by spreading positive values and making societal contributions beyond the corporate scope; and Acting for the Environment through strategic initiatives, raising awareness, and promoting sustainable practices internally.

Re-conducting the Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) with a Strategic Focus

In early 2025, Talentnet re-evaluated its Double Materiality Assessment (DMA) to align with new business directions and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). This assessment identifies the most critical ESG topics by examining the company’s impact on the environment and society while analyzing related financial risks and opportunities.

Collaborating with UK-based ESG experts ensures objectivity, rigorous methodology, and alignment with international best practices. Beyond reporting, the DMA results serve as a strategic tool for risk management, ESG priority setting, and crafting a mid to long-term sustainable development roadmap. This approach underscores Talentnet’s commitment to integrating ESG into its core business strategy and decision-making processes.

Implementing Internal and Community-Focused Initiatives

Throughout 2025, Talentnet launched several community and environmental initiatives. Over 300 employees visited and donated gifts to the Thien Binh Orphanage and Thien Tam Charity Home, fostering compassion and support for children and caregivers.

Additionally, Talentnet planted 100 native blackwood trees in the Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve, contributing to ecosystem restoration and carbon sequestration. Choosing indigenous species highlights the company’s commitment to long-term environmental sustainability.

Talentnet also partnered with Dear Our Community to award 20 ESG scholarships to students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Ho Chi Minh City. The program focuses on practical ESG and sustainable development topics, green economy career trends, core sustainability skills for young professionals, and translating ESG knowledge into actionable projects.

In daily operations, Talentnet implements eco-friendly initiatives such as waste segregation, energy conservation, and prioritizing green transportation.

Achieving EcoVadis 2025 Certification – Recognizing Sustainability Efforts

In 2025, Talentnet earned the EcoVadis Commitment Certification with a total score of 58/100. Compared to the previous year, the score increased by 13.7%, with significant improvements in Labor & Human Rights (+24%) and Sustainable Procurement (+33%). This reflects the company’s dedication to enhancing employee welfare, responsible governance, and fostering a fair, safe work environment across its value chain.

Moving into 2026, Talentnet remains steadfast in its human-centric sustainability philosophy, deepening its ESG journey. The company will focus on integrating ESG into operations and HR services while developing long-term community and environmental initiatives for meaningful and lasting societal impact.

Reflecting on this journey, Ms. Tieu Yen Trinh, CEO of Talentnet, stated: “Talentnet’s sustainability journey over the past years has driven positive transformations, from empowering individuals and spreading community values to fostering environmentally conscious habits. Sustainability is challenging, but the 2025 achievements inspire confidence in our 2026 initiatives and beyond, ensuring our commitment becomes more tangible, meaningful, and effective.”
