Today, January 10th, the Civil Judgment Enforcement Agency (CJEA) of Ho Chi Minh City announced that in 2025, the volume of cases and funds to be enforced continued to rise, with an unprecedented surge in major corruption and economic cases.

CJEA Ho Chi Minh City has successfully completed and exceeded the targets set by the National Assembly, concluding 81,977 cases (14.2% of the national total) and recovering 55,773 billion VND, both surpassing the assigned targets. Asset recovery in economic and corruption cases totaled 426 cases, with over 18,835 billion VND recovered.
In 2025, there were 420 administrative enforcement cases under monitoring. CJEA Ho Chi Minh City has completed 129 cases, with the remainder under close supervision in accordance with legal regulations.
The application of information technology and digital transformation at CJEA Ho Chi Minh City has achieved significant results, setting a benchmark for the entire enforcement sector. Several software solutions have been successfully implemented, yielding high practical efficiency.
The successful deployment of the payment software in the Truong My Lan case (Chairwoman of Van Thinh Phat Group) and her accomplices marked a significant breakthrough. With a single command, the system facilitated payments to over 43,000 parties, totaling more than 9,000 billion VND, without any disputes or complaints regarding the payment outcomes.

On January 10th, Mr. Nguyen Van Duoc, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, expressed his admiration for the digital transformation and IT application in the enforcement sector during the conference. He highlighted that CJEA Ho Chi Minh City’s recovery of 40.6% of the national enforcement funds is a testament to the strong leadership of the Ministry of Justice and the dedication of CJEA Ho Chi Minh City’s leadership and staff.

Deputy Minister of Justice Mai Luong Khoi acknowledged the challenges faced by CJEA Ho Chi Minh City, which has merged three local enforcement agencies from Binh Duong, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, and Ho Chi Minh City, managing a substantial caseload. He commended CJEA Ho Chi Minh City for its achievements in handling major cases and streamlining its operations.
