According to Ms. Nguyen Hoang Hieu, Director of the Center for Forecasting Human Resource Needs and Labor Market Information in Ho Chi Minh City, the domestic and global economic situation continues to face challenges despite signs of recovery.
However, the Vietnamese economy has shown positive signs, thanks to the government’s efforts in promoting reforms and improving the business environment. Additionally, international integration has had a positive impact on Vietnam’s economy, both domestically and in Ho Chi Minh City specifically.
“Notably, Ho Chi Minh City has also proposed flexible solutions to promote economic and social development and support the positive growth of the labor market. This has opened up numerous job opportunities for workers, contributing to a more vibrant job market in the city during the last months of 2024,” shared Ms. Nguyen Hoang Hieu.
