This marks the second consecutive month that Toyota has surpassed the 8,000-unit sales mark, bringing its year-to-date sales for 2024 to over 59,000 units. With these impressive numbers, the company is well on its way to achieving its target of 1 million units sold by 2025, a milestone that coincides with Toyota’s 30th anniversary in Vietnam.

Toyota’s November 2024 Sales Breakdown

Breaking down the numbers, Toyota sold 8,693 units nationwide, comprising 4,132 domestically assembled vehicles and 4,561 completely built-up imported units. Notably, sales of hybrid vehicles stood at 608 units, contributing to a total of 4,489 hybrid units sold in the first 11 months of 2024. This reflects the growing popularity of fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly vehicles among Vietnamese customers.

In November 2024, Lexus continued to deliver exceptional experiences to 158 customers, bringing its cumulative sales since its introduction in Vietnam to 13,567 units.

The Toyota Vios maintained its position as the best-selling Toyota model in the market. Specifically, compared to the previous month, Vios sales in November 2024 increased by approximately 21%, with 2,135 units sold. With these impressive figures, the Toyota Vios is likely to remain the best-selling compact sedan in its segment for the month.

In addition to the Vios, another domestically assembled model, the Veloz Cross, also witnessed a slight increase in sales compared to October, with 1,146 units sold.

Importantly, imported models contributed significantly to the overall sales figures, with the Yaris Cross and Corolla Cross leading the way, selling 1,188 and 1,150 units, respectively.

According to TMV representatives, the stable sales performance in November can be attributed in part to the continued government support for registration fees for domestically assembled vehicles. Additionally, Toyota’s promotional programs for models such as the Vios, Yaris Cross, Veloz Cross, Avanza Premio, and Corolla Cross in November have made it easier for customers to own a Toyota vehicle ahead of the 2025 Tet holiday.
