On May 24th, the Economic Police of Dong Nai Provincial Public Security, in collaboration with Hung Loc Commune Police (Thong Nhat District) and the Provincial Market Management Bureau, conducted an unexpected inspection of an unlicensed fertilizer production facility, uncovering a series of severe violations.

The inspected entity was Commercial Services Trading Development Joint Stock Company (located in Group 3, Hamlet 9/4, Hung Loc Commune), directed by La Giang Dinh (born in 1990, native of Thanh Phu Town, Thanh Phu District, Ben Tre Province). Authorities identified signs of counterfeiting in the production and trading of fertilizers and products used in agriculture and aquaculture.

In a statement to the authorities, La Giang Dinh confessed that Commercial Services Trading Development JSC had been operating without a license since January 2025. The raw materials for mixing and packaging were sourced from China and several domestic suppliers, while the packaging was custom-ordered through social media platforms.

The blended and packaged products were sold in various provinces across the Mekong Delta region of Southern Vietnam.

The authorities seized and temporarily confiscated all evidence, including: 6,059 kg of finished products; 13,375 kg of raw materials; four electronic scales; one concrete mixer; one bag sewing machine; one heat press; and one desktop computer CPU.

The case is under further investigation by the police.
