The Tân Phú-Bảo Lộc expressway will reduce traffic on National Highway 20, especially the section through Bảo Lộc Pass.

On February 2, information from the Provincial Traffic Management Project Management Board of Lâm Đồng Province revealed that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has reviewed and approved the compensation policy framework and resettlement support for the Tân Phú – Bảo Lộc expressway project.

Accordingly, the total area for reclamation in Lâm Đồng and Đồng Nai provinces is 500.6 hectares, including 5.6 hectares of residential land, 434.7 hectares of agricultural land, 0.1 hectares of educational land, and 60.2 hectares of other non-agricultural land.

It is expected that approximately 1,758 households, equivalent to about 5,043 people, will have their land reclaimed for the implementation of the Tân Phú – Bảo Lộc expressway project; of which, more than 300 households will be relocated to the resettlement area.

The total compensation and resettlement support for the project is estimated at 2,821 billion VND. The funding for land clearance will be sourced from the state budget.

Regarding the land clearance compensation and resettlement support, the relevant localities in Lâm Đồng Province have preliminarily compiled statistics, calculated the volume, scope, and area for compensation and land clearance, as well as the planned land fund for resettlement for the project.

The districts and cities have also commenced the preparation for infrastructure investment in residential areas, resettlement areas to serve the compensation and land clearance work on the expressway.

Specifically, the project for constructing technical infrastructure in the Lộc Thắng town, Bảo Lâm district occupies a total area of ​​3.79 hectares, with an estimated investment of about 36 billion VND.

The project for constructing technical infrastructure in the Đạ Oai commune, Đạ Huoai district will cover a total area of ​​12.58 hectares, with an estimated investment of about 151.561 billion VND.

In Bảo Lộc City, there is a project to construct technical infrastructure in the Lộc Phát ward, with a total area of ​​19.567 hectares, and an estimated investment of about 246.2 billion VND (to serve the compensation and land clearance work on both sections of the Tân Phú – Bảo Lộc and Bảo Lộc – Liên Khương expressways).

The Lâm Đồng Provincial People’s Council has approved the investment policy and is in the process of proposing capital allocation for implementation in 2024.

In Đồng Nai Province, a resettlement area is planned in Phú Trung commune, Tân Phú district, covering an area of ​​about 9.5 hectares.

According to the Provincial Traffic Management Project Management Board of Lâm Đồng Province, the feasibility study report has been completed, and the Lâm Đồng Provincial People’s Committee has submitted it to the Ministry of Planning and Investment for appraisal. The total investment for the project is estimated at 18.120 trillion VND.

Of this amount, state capital amounts to 6.500 trillion VND, including 2.000 trillion VND from the central budget and 4.500 trillion VND from the provincial budget. The ownership capital of investors and other mobilized capital is about 11.620 trillion VND: Investors’ capital is 1.743 trillion VND and other mobilized capital is 9.877 trillion VND.
