On February 2, the Spring Press Festival was held in various provinces in the North Central region with different themes.
In Thua Thien Hue province, the Thua Thien Hue Journalists’ Association in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 2024 Spring Press Festival with the theme “Thua Thien Hue Press – Pioneer, Innovation in the Digital Transformation Era”.
The 2024 Spring Press Festival in Thua Thien Hue has 19 exhibition booths, with nearly 1,000 newspapers, magazines, publications from central newspapers, provinces, local press agencies, departments, and localities; more than 300 books; 120 online spring newspapers; products of television and electronic press. This year’s Spring Press Festival also features the participation of Hue Bookstore; Center for Smart Urban Monitoring and Operation; Tourism Promotion and Information Center, and Huong Thuy town.
The Spring Press Festival is a cultural and spiritual activity that has become a traditional beauty of the press in the country in general and the Thua Thien Hue press in particular. This is also a unique cultural event of Thua Thien Hue journalists in a series of meaningful activities towards celebrating major holidays of the homeland and the country.
In Quang Tri province, this year’s Spring Press Festival has the theme “Celebrating the Party, celebrating the Spring, celebrating the innovation of the homeland”. This is also an opportunity to recognize the achievements of innovation in Quang Tri’s press and the press nationwide, as well as a place for journalists to exchange and meet with a large number of newspaper and radio listeners, TV viewers, connecting the press with the local government and businesses, creating conditions for the people to enjoy dedicated, creative, and attractive press products of the journalists throughout the past year.
This year’s Spring Press Festival in Quang Tri province, in addition to local press publications, displays 200 newspapers, magazines, newsletters, with nearly 1,000 publications from central newspapers, industry newspapers, and provinces nationwide to serve readers.
At the same time, it introduces and promotes historical sites, landscapes, tourist attractions, and tourism development potential, as well as creates conditions for units and production facilities in Vinh Linh district to seek opportunities, expand markets, promote production and business cooperation, and introduce products; promote trade, expand markets for local products.
All press publications will be displayed at the Quang Tri Spring Press Festival from February 2 to February 4, 2024, to welcome readers and the public to visit and learn.
In Thanh Hoa province, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Journalists’ Association in collaboration with the Provincial Party Committee’s Propaganda Department, the Department of Information and Communication, local press agencies, Thanh Hoa Publishing House, Exhibition – Fair – Advertising Center, and Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station organized the opening of the Spring Press Festival with the theme “Professional, Humanistic, and Modern Thanh Hoa Press”.
This year’s Spring Press Festival in Thanh Hoa takes place at the Exhibition – Fair – Advertising Center, Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station from February 2 to February 8, 2024.
At this Spring Press Festival, there are more than 300 Tet 2024 press publications and Spring publications of central press agencies, local party newspapers throughout the country, and Thanh Hoa press.
In the Spring Press Festival space in Thanh Hoa, there are also over 300 outstanding publications of Thanh Hoa Publishing House; beautiful photos on the theme “Land and People of Thanh Hoa”, selected photos from the first “Beauty of Thanh Hoa journalists” photo contest in 2023.
