This year, the program is accompanied by Unilever Vietnam, Coca Cola Vietnam, P&G Vietnam, and Mayhome. Passengers have their transportation, meals, and drinks fully covered throughout the journey. They also receive Tet gift baskets and road tolls at a total value of more than 1,000,000 VND/meal. Especially, when the convoy passes through each location where there is a Co.opmart store, Co.opmart staff will provide water and meals for passengers to continue their journey home for Tet.

Among the 900 passengers of the Joyful Trip, the majority are workers in industrial and export processing zones in the city, university and college students, self-employed workers, job seekers, etc. More than 40% of passengers are families of 2-3 members or more, including many babies accompanying their parents to celebrate Tet in their hometowns. To ensure the safety of passengers, drivers for the Joyful Trip are carefully selected. On the same route, drivers take turns to ensure that passengers are taken home safely. It is expected that the furthest destination will be reached after 24 hours (on February 6, the 27th day of Tet) in Quang Binh.

Implemented for the first time in 2023, the Joyful Trip of Saigon Co.op is highly appreciated for its socialization, humanitarianism, and suitability for organization in big cities that attract laborers from all over the country.
