Dareu, the Chinese gaming peripherals manufacturer, has recently announced the launch of two new wireless gaming mice, A980Pro and A980ProMax. Both mice are equipped with the P3395 optical sensor, providing a maximum DPI of 26,000 and a tracking speed of 650 IPS. They also use the Kailh GM 8.0 Black Mamba switches with a lifespan of up to 80 million clicks.

Dareu A980Pro and A980ProMax support three connection modes: wired, wireless NearLink, and Bluetooth 5.1. They can also pair with up to three devices simultaneously. The NearLink wireless technology developed by Huawei provides low latency of about 1ms and a polling rate of up to 4000Hz in the wireless mode and 8000Hz in the wired mode.

The main difference is that the Dareu A980ProMax features a 0.85-inch TFT color screen that displays the mouse’s status, such as battery level, static or dynamic images. This screen can also be used to switch DPI/polling rate and other functions.

The Dareu A980ProMax also has a metal scroll wheel and a larger battery capacity (930mAh) compared to the A980Pro (500mAh). However, the A980Pro supports fast charging, while the A980ProMax does not.

Both mouse models are made of magnesium alloy, which is said to be lighter, more compact, and more durable than traditional materials. They are also equipped with Dareu’s new energy-saving wireless technology, which can last up to 70 hours in the NearLink mode and 130 hours in the Bluetooth mode on the A980Pro (the battery life of the A980ProMax has not been disclosed).

The A980Pro weighs 62g, while the A980ProMax weighs slightly more at 73g. Both mice have dimensions of 129mm x 72mm x 40mm, providing a comfortable size for various grip styles and gaming preferences.

DPI settings, lighting effects, polling rate, and customization of the TFT screen can be adjusted through the Dareu driver software. This software also allows configuration of macro keys to customize the mouse according to specific needs and preferences.

The Dareu A980Pro is priced at 299 Chinese yuan (about 1 million Vietnamese dong), while the A980ProMax is priced at 399 Chinese yuan (about 1.4 million Vietnamese dong). Both mouse models will be officially available for sale starting from March 15.
