Next is: Intimex Group, Tuan Loc Commodities, Simexco Daklak, Louis Dreyfus Company Vietnam, Intimex My Phuoc, Phuc Sinh, NKG Vietnam, Olam Vietnam, and Hoa Trang – Gia Lai. This ranking shows that Vietnamese companies dominate the majority of the market share in the export of green coffee.
However, most of the top 10 companies exporting roasted and instant coffee are foreign direct investment (FDI) companies. Among them, NESTLÉ Vietnam (Switzerland) topped the list with about 57.5 million USD.
Next are the brands: OUTSPAN Vietnam, Cà phê Ngon, Trung Nguyen Group, IGUACU Vietnam, URC Vietnam, TATA COFFEE Vietnam, INSTANTA Vietnam, SUCAFINA Vietnam, and Lua chon dinh. Thus, there is only one Vietnamese brand in this list which is Trung Nguyen Group.
In the 2022/2023 crop year, according to statistics, FDI companies accounted for about 33.1% of the value of green coffee exports and 71.7% of the value of processed coffee (roasted and instant).
In an interview with a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Nam Hai, Chairman of Vicofa, said that these FDI companies are also members of Vicofa. These companies have strength in capital, technology, and markets.
