Syakar Trading, authorized distributor of Honda scooters in Nepal, has launched an upgraded version of the Honda Dio 110 BS6 small scooter model.
In the new generation, the Honda Dio 110 BS6 base version is priced from 2.59 Rs. Lakhs (about 46 million VND) to 2.69 Rs. Lakhs (about 47.8 million VND) for the premium variant. On the other hand, the Dio 110 (BS4) is priced at only 2.21 – 2.31 Rs. Lakhs (about 39 – 41 million VND).
According to the company, although the design of the Honda Dio 110 2024 is still quite familiar, the scooter has been improved in many aspects. The most prominent feature is the sporty and eye-catching graphics along with the sharp angular front apron design.
In addition, the LED headlight and halogen turn signal lights are still integrated into the mudguard as before. However, the LED DRL light mounted on the handlebars has been slightly redesigned. The scooter is also equipped with a convenient front storage compartment and an exterior fuel tank lid. The highest variant features an LCD instrument cluster.
The Dio 110 BS6 uses larger tires than the Dio 110 BS4 with dimensions of 90/90-12 (90/90-10 for the Dio 110 BS4) for the front wheel and 90/100-10 for the rear wheel.
The braking system on the 2024 Honda Dio 110 is drum brakes front/rear and is assisted by CBS. The basic specifications of the Honda Dio 110 are still telescopic front forks and rear shock absorbers.
Powering the scooter is a 109.51cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, SI, PGM-FI engine that produces a maximum power of 7.9 horsepower at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.03 Nm at 5250 rpm. The scooter is paired with a V-Matic transmission.
In the upgraded variant, the scooter is also available in 5 new colors: blue, yellow, orange, gray, black, and red.
