A new set of purported iPhone 16 prototype images have been shared to social media by leaker Sonny Dickson, revealing the design of the entire upcoming lineup. While the iPhone 16 range looks to retain the same overall design as the current series, Apple is rumored to be making some tweaks to the look and feel.

One of the most significant rumored alterations is that the Pro models will sport larger displays. The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch screen, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max could grow to 6.9 inches. The non-Pro models, meanwhile, will likely maintain their current sizes, meaning the iPhone 16 is expected to measure in at 6.1 inches and the iPhone 16 Plus at 6.7 inches.

The iPhone 16 prototype images posted to Twitter by Dickson back up these whispers. The iPhone 16 Pro models do appear to dwarf their non-Pro counterparts in size. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, in particular, is a real behemoth.

Another shift that the leaked images confirm is that the regular iPhone 16 models will finally do away with the diagonal camera array in favor of a vertically aligned setup. The flash will also be moved outside of the camera bump.

This re-arrangement will reportedly allow Apple to bring Spatial Video recording to the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus. Apple currently only offers this feature on the iPhone 15 Pro models thanks to the vertically aligned main and ultrawide lenses. It would make sense given that the new Vision Pro VR headset supports Spatial Video playback.

Since the leaked images only show the rear of the handsets, we can’t see other rumored changes such as an Action Button on the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, or a dedicated Capture button on the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
